If you are suffering from an alcohol or drug addiction or know someone else who is, it is crucial for you to know that treatment options are available.
The sufferer might currently live in the county of Surrey neighbouring London. Whether they live in a northern Surrey town like Woking or Walton-on-Thames, a southern part like Godalming or Horley or any other Surrey town, we can extend help to them.
In Portsmouth, we run a rehabilitation centre to which Surrey residents can easily travel. Private care for Surrey residents is also available.
A specialist GP can supervise a client when they attend our treatment centre. This treatment can relinquish the adverse influence that drugs or alcohol may be exerting on their day-to-day lives.
During the detoxification stage, clients will live in ANA-provided accommodation, possibly with a roommate. They will also, in following a specific timetable, make use of group therapy and attend key-work sessions that can take account of needs of individual clients.
While on our Primary Treatment programme, clients can pick up life skills for them to draw upon while they continue recovering. They can also benefit from regular drug testing – and, if needed, a personalised medical regime. Each client will also have a care plan for updating as the recovery progresses.
The programme also features workshops focusing on subjects including family dynamics, relationships, conflict resolution and relapse prevention. We are happy to accept clients from Surrey locations such as Redhill, Epsom, Ashford, Leatherhead and Weybridge.
Clients make further progress on their journey to a drug- or alcohol-free life during this stage of treatment. Clients who have followed a primary treatment programme from treatment centres other than ANA are also welcome.
During secondary treatment, clients will live in homes maintained by our staff and daily visit our Southsea-located secondary centre to attend workshops, groups, education lectures and more. Addiction sufferers from Surrey areas including Guildford, Esher and Camberley can benefit.
This is where clients can begin making their first steps back into independence – routinely backed along the way by a network of people. The aim is for clients to preserve a clean and sober lifestyle – and the Programme includes practical workshops and weekly counsellor visits.
We will, however, ease clients gently into their transition. They will, for example, continue residing in a home that we manage – and we can be flexible about when their Third Stage Treatment will end.
Once a client has completed Third Stage Treatment here at ANA and stayed clean over no less than four weeks, they can utilise our free Aftercare service. This comprises groups that meet at 10:30 to 12:30 on Wednesday and Friday morning and 14:30 to 16:00 on Thursday afternoon.
These counsellor-facilitated, open groups allow residents of Surrey places like Ashford, Egham, Reigate and Farnham to seek further support on issues including housing, education, training and relationships. We welcome you calling us on 023 9237 3433 should you be interested in learning further details concerning how we can treat clients.
