Addiction to drugs or alcohol can have many adverse implications – not only for the client and their health but also for their family and friends. However, people from West Sussex, including the major towns of Chichester, Horsham, Crawley and Bognor Regis can address their issues with our help (including the option to receive addiction treatment privately).
Wherever a client lives in West Sussex, we can collect them from their home and bring them to our treatment centre in Portsmouth. There, they can receive a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services, including those detailed below.
Upon admission, a client enters our detoxification programme. Both a GP and nurse can supervise the client as they progress detox.
Individual and group therapy, provided within a structured timetable, is a key aspect of the detoxification stage, which often lasts 10 – 28 days.
Clients travelling to us from West Sussex areas including Worthing and the cathedral city of Chichester can soon start benefitting from our Primary Treatment programme.
Whether they are receiving drug or alcohol treatment, they will have a treatment plan which is reviewed as progress with the treatment is made. Clients can also take part in group therapy and, if necessary, receive a personalised medical regime. At ANA, Primary Treatment usually lasts for 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 weeks.
Primary treatment teaches clients various tools for use in ensuring lifelong abstinence; however, the clients can build upon those tools when they take advantage of Secondary Treatment here at ANA.
If you live in a West Sussex area like Horsham, Littlehampton or Burgess Hill, you might have already received primary treatment at a treatment centre other than ANA. However, we can still accept you – alongside our own Primary Treatment graduates – for Secondary Treatment.
Of course, a key goal of alcohol or drug rehab is helping a client to transition to independent living again. This change starts to happen during our Third Stage Treatment programme.
For as long as this programme lasts for a client, they will continue to benefit from a support network. However, the client will be tasked with managing their own timetable, which will include periods for both community life and, on-site at ANA, therapeutic time.
Once a West Sussex client has finished Third Stage Treatment with us, they can return to East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Southwick, Shoreham or wherever else they live in their home county.
However, they can still regularly return to ANA to make effective use of our Aftercare sessions. These are scheduled for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – and allow clients to obtain judgement-free advice on issues including education, housing and relationships. Aftercare is free for the clients life.
We invite you to phone 023 9237 3433 to let us tell you more about our drug and alcohol rehab for West Sussex clients.
